WILLIAM LANE CRAIG ON WHY THERE MIGHT BE NO GOD

[Interviewer]: What is your best evidence there is no God....?

"In terms of the atheistic argument, I think probably the argument on the hiddenness of God would be the best. That God seems so absent sometimes when we need him most. And I think that one response to that hiddenness is to say, well he’s not there. And so that would be, I think, perhaps the best argument that the Atheist might offer."

“Why do you stand afar off, O Lord? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?” - Psalms 10:1

The "hiddenness of God" that troubles William Lane Craig is the fundamental reason why I think that God does not exist. Craig is confusing "hiddenness" with "non-existence." They are one and the same thing. God is hidden in the same way that the Loch Ness Monster is hidden; neither exist in real life; they are myth and legend.

There has been no further revelation of God for two thousand years. In this age of information technology and rapid communication of news, we are never going to hear from God again, because any further attempt to deceive humans with more God myth will be exposed immediately.

God does not help the world in times of calamity and trouble. He does not act against evil. He does not reveal himself on television or at the United Nations; because he does not exist.

As I have said before: "God's actions are indistinguishable from his non-existence."

Wishing that God exists and that he would reveal himself, is not proof that he exists. It is proof that such people are naïve.
